Winning Students

Curling Scholarships

Curlers are nominated for a scholarship by Scottish and British Curling Performance Director, Graeme Thompson.

To be considered for selection, curlers must be a member of:

  • Scottish and British Curling’s World Class Performance Programme, or;
  • Selected GB Teams, or;
  • Their respective home nation Development Programme

The number of places is determined by the size of the award available to the sport and, should the applications outweigh the scholarships available, places will be awarded in order of squad level.

Under normal circumstances, athletes receiving UK Sport Level A & B Athlete Personal Awards (APA) will not be considered for nomination. Where exceptional circumstances apply for these athletes, these will be considered and discussed with Winning Students.

Scottish and British Curling has until 30 September to submit nominations for the current year. For further details of the nomination and selection process, or to confirm your eligibility, please contact Graeme Thompson.
